    On October 18th 2023 we had an issue with a furnace in a camper we reside in. We purchased the camper 3/14/23. On 3/20/2023 we ask ********************* to replace the furnace before we picked up the camper. They replaced the furnace. In October we need to use the furnace. The first week it did fine. Then we noticed it was not firing correctly nor running properly. We called ********************* to report the issue. It took them a month to come look at it. When they did they took the furnace. When they brought it back they put a hole in the top of the furnace and put another vent through a wall with an air-conditioning vent that caught fire. It has been 3 in a half months with no result. FALLINS RV called today and said they will give me back my money with no furnace. They destroy my camper and leave me in the middle of winter with no heat source. They want to take the furnace and leave a hole out side as well as inside.

    We we're originally contacted on November 13 2023 about the furnace not running correctly. It took us until 12-6-2023 (3 weeks) to schedule a mobile service call **** hours from our store, which we did as a customer courtesy. On arrival, we noted the converter charging at *****vdc (too high), with ****mvac ripple (way too high), and the battery tested bad. We replaced both to get good power to the furnace, and the rest of the *** The customer refused to pay for those issues, (over $1,000). We still went through the warranty process with Dometic for their furnace which included removing the furnace so we could test it at our shop. We closed the hole left by the furnace, and left the customer with two electric heaters, and they supplied a wall mount ventless LP furnace so they would not get cold in the meantime. Dometic did instruct us to add an additional vent to aid in removing heat from the furnace box. The vent was supplied with AP Products flexible air duct (part # ***-3100-M). Neither it, or the furnace caught on fire. Throughout the warranty process we received several phone calls from the customer cussing our employees, and demanding a new furnace or refunding their initial purchase. At this point we stated we would refund the purchase, and reinstall their old furnace. The customer then became upset, and filed this claim. Since that time we have completed the warranty process and closed up the vent with a blank out plug and metal tape. The furnace is operating as it should and all parties have parted ways satisfied.
