Work performed between July 2022 and April 2023.Total: $43,000 Contractor agreed to:1. Dehumidify crawlspace by sealing it and installing a dehumidifier 2. Repair water damaged exterior wall/floor in kitchen 3. Enclose a screened-in room, insulate new wall, floor, and ceiling, and add an ac duct.4. Install exterior drainage and capture gutter downspouts 5. Stabilize sagging foundation Complaints:1. No insulation under repaired kitchen wall. Contractor scraped away existing foam insulation and did not replace. Air is felt coming in from outside. This was hidden under plywood sheeting and not discovered until I removed it after the project ended.2. New floor supports attached to nothing. The water damage in the kitchen reached the floor trusses. Contractor was supposed to add additional supports. Contractor added 2 x 12's that were literally attached to nothing. This was hidden under plywood sheeting.3. No insulation under newly enclosed room. Air is felt coming in from outside. This was hidden under plywood sheeting.4. Crawlspace not sealed properly. Crawlspace wasn't completed until late Fall when the outside humidity dropped from its Summer high. Contractor said they would address if the crawlspace humidity rose above 55%. This past June it reached 71%. I shared this and no response. Other professionals confirmed sealing was not done properly and dehumidifier was too small for the space.5. Contractor removed and discarded ~20 feet of rain gutter, downspout, and gutter covers. Claimed gutter could not be replaced as it was an unusual profile. Contractor suggested replacing gutters for entire house for an additional $6000+. I ended the project at that point. I was able to replace the gutters with standard K-style gutters sold at most home improvement stores.6. Drainage not connected to anything. They also damaged existing drain lines when installing. Not discovered until I dug up their drain lines after noticing the downspouts were not draining properly.

I initially hired said company to do work on my crawlspace. With the exception of a dispute for replacing insulation as stated in contract, they did good work. I eventually hired and paid for 4 more jobs. Made payments in full to total $34,052.The last job left unfinished with receipt of payment in full(attachment) invoice #**** is item in dispute.Out of the blue they stated that money was owed for various items NEVER invoiced and never agreed to. One item, the only with no written estimate was to replace a privacy fence gate for $250. I agreed after confirming it would include painting and latch installed.(I was to buy latch and paint). One day "****/*****************************" made a statement that the next day he would bring his weedeater and cut area where his workers were working. I mentioned my grass people would be coming but understood with the rain etc those weeds were tall. Not one word was mentioned of this being a chargeable service. In fact the charge he is now claiming I approved which I did not. I only author ized him to for his workers comfort to trim the work area. He has now billed me $80 for "weed eating" the entire yard. Why would I pay or approve that when my regular lawn maintenance does the entire yard and shrubbary for $65. He has also added $125 for painting and $125 for installing latch on fence, doubling agreed on price. He also added $880 for fascia repair which was already invoiced and paid. Now is refusing to finish last job already paid $5,670 in full for. Today he threatened to put a lien on my house if the additional was not paid. Nor would he complete work if not paid. When not even a week ago he began the work and noted paid in full. The reason it hadn't yet been completed was I refused him to do work needed before and hired others. There price was not even 1/3rd of what he had demanded.*I have much more documentation. Uploaded When added fees, stated removed fees, paid in full, then threat of lien and work paid but unfinished
