    On Nov 14th, 2023, my wife and I went to Atlantic Derm for skin issues. I was charged $149 and my wife was charged $135, even though we both insisted that our insurance would cover the visit. Sure enough our insurance paid 100% of the ******** assignment for both of us. We visited the office to get our money back, but were informed by the office Supervisor ****** that there was no billing **** at the office and all billing issues were handled by a third party vendor in *********. I have tried many times to contact the billing **** using the number she provided to no avail (never being able to reach a living person). It has been 62 days since our visit, without one word from either Atlantic Derm or the billing office; totally unacceptable business behavior and bordering on fraud. This is double billing to the nth degree. The bigger concern here is: how many other patients are being double charged, not realizing that their insurance company had also paid.
