    We contracted with Atlantic Premier Entertainment for 2 cold sparks for our daughter's wedding on May 20, 2023 at the ************************. The cold sparks were to go off during the couple's first dance. We paid $500 in advance. At the wedding, one of the cold sparks malfunctioned and did not go off; the other one sputtered and eventually went off but not until the couple was finishing their dance. I reached out to the vendor on May 22 regarding the malfunction and requested a refund. On May 27, he agreed to send me a full refund which I still have not received. I've sent multiple emails with no response.

    Mr. ***** ***************** were extremely patient in their dealings with us here at Atlantic Premier Entertainment.  After our email exchange on 6/6/23, check# **** in the amount of $500 was sent to **** ****************. **********, ** 28405.  Upon receiving this inquiry, I found that the check has never been cashed.  I am absolutely happy to issue another check for their full refund.  It has never been our intention to deny the McCools their refund.  We are company with an excellent customer satisfaction rate and hundreds of positive reviews on many different platforms.  We only want our customers to be elated with our performances and if something does not go as planned, we only want to make things right with them.  I can't apologize enough for the turn of events that caused them to turn to the BBB.  We hope that our efforts to rectify this are effective and all those involved can be pleased with the outcome.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I followed up with the vendor twice by email to inquire about the status of the refund and received no reply despite the claim in the vendor's response that a check was mailed to us.  We have not received the refund check  and would like the business to reissue the check for $500 and notify us by email when the check has been sent.   Once we have received/deposited the check, I will notify the vendor and the BBB and will consider the complaint resolved.  Our mailing address is ****************************************************************************; 28405.
