    I am having health and breathing issues directly related to mold in the building. Serious respiratory issues, nasal congestion, post- nasal drip and chronic headaches and fatigue. My allergist has written a letter explaining that my symptoms are directly related to chronic mold inhalation and subsequent toxicity. My apartment has flooded from burst pipes in the walls twice and a hot water heater that empty completely overnight and flooded the living area.. No effort to clean the water in any of these events was made and it ruined an area rug I had. Also no effort to make sure the walls or flooring were appropriatly dried out was made. I am currently taking a double dose of oral antihistamines, 2 nasal sprays, 2 respiratory inhalers in addition to a rescue asthma inhaler. I also had to be started on 2 different blood pressure medications my dr believes is directly related to my allergic response. After my most recent visit, my dr wants to start me on an additional once monthly injection for eosinophilic asthma caused by chronic exposure to mold. I am moving to a new apartment at the end of Sept, but all of my medical costs have inhibited my ability to pay this last months rent. I asked for some form of credit or compensation and HST has not provided any or remediation of mold, they say because it is not visible. But have refused to do any testing. They just now have offered to have someone come and clean the ducts but I am literally moving out in a month, I cannot move any sooner due to availability of new apartment. This has been an ongoing issues since at least March, and I have been asking for some type of action since June, even contacting the cooperate office , Friedlam Partners in NJ, but received no response. They also do not regularly provide pest control as stated in contract and leave the area around my building littered with debris/trash and leaves and pine needles, though I have asked several times for clean up. They have my $2700 security deposit also

    I just wanted to let you know that the tenant moved out and we refunded half of her deposit even though rent was not paid for the last 2 months. We credited back the open balance so there is no longer an open balance.

    The tenant is satisfied.
