  My first contact was ***** ******. He came out to my mountain house and we discussed at length what my walk-in crawl space needed. Its an unusable space due to the house extension being built across a sloping boulder. It houses both the furnace and hot water heater for the expansion area. So, it needs to not only be dry, but accessible for maintenance. He noticed the floor support beams needed better support, and we added that to the project. The room downstairs that shares the wall with that area has been having moisture issues. He and his co-workers came up with a great solution- saving me money. They cut two small vents in that wall so that the dehumidifier can work in there as well. The crew, ****, German, and **** were great. They called ahead to let me know when to expect them. Arrived on time, and were professional. They encapsulated the entire floor and up the walls, put insulation board up the walls, installed an emergency drain, and a commercial grade dehumidifier with permanent drainage. The placed several steel supports under the support beams. They kept me apprised of their progress, and finished it in two days time. Im thrilled to have this project completed, and look forward to a much dryer environment throughout the house!

  They're a total rip off $13700.00 for some plastic, more thick plastic, a compresser that can be bought for $250.00 filters that are $38.00, and if it goes off you have to pay for someone to come and reset it. I still have to place damp rid around my house to catch the moisture. The luciferian that lied about everything I hope he has nightmares every night and loose more than $13700.00 for selling a pack of lies

  Zero Stars; It all started at the beginning on COVID19 2020: On 1.25.21 we contacted Carolina Basement to come to our home for Foundation Repair; On 2.2.21 the Salesman Lane C*** came to our home to conduct an inspection. On 2.10.21 Lane sent an email with an Estimate of $10.594.56 insisting a deposit must be made to lock in the price, on 7.23.21 a deposit of $3.263.00 was made and the Foundation Repairs was schedule for 10.12.21. On 10.2.21, we contact Lane C*** requesting a Zoom Meeting to go over the what is excepted, Lane scheduled the Zoom Meeting for 10.10.21, two days prior to the repairs. On 10.12.21 & 10.13.21, the repairs was completed and the remaining balance of the deposit was paid in the amount of $7.332.49. Due to inclement weather my husband & I wasn't able to go under the house "Crawl Space" until a few days later, we were very disappointed, some of the work wasn't done as said in the Zoom Meeting. On 4.18.22 we filed a compliant because the backroom wall was separating and damage was done to wall in the Den due to excessive pressure from the Smart Jacks. Lane C*** came out an conducted an inspection, he was upset using excessive profanity calling the worker "stupid", they put the Smart Jacks in the wrong place and drew another work scope. On 3.29. 23 another complaint was filed Mgr. Jacob & the City of G'boro Inspectors came out trying to say the Den wall damage was from the roof, which wasn't true, the inside wall was damage due to the pressure from the Smart Jacks. On 11.26.23 the walls are separating again and they look horrible. We are seeking a full refund of $10.594.56 the Foundation Repairs, Wall Damage to be corrected We will never referral, recommend Carolina Basement in the nearest future. We are an Elderly Couple who feels like we were taken advantage of, they have the money we have Dissatisfactory Work and horrible walls and as of today's 11.26.23 the walls are still not stable we have pictures.   We have a dirt crawl space and root cellar under the 1942 house we just bought. Water would come into the root cellar when it rained a lot. We decided to get the space checked for mold and sure enough Carolina Basement Systems came and found some that had just started. JC and Crew came and cleaned all of that up and treated the space to prevent any more forming and sealed the entire area. Now we don't have to sweep out water when it comes in and not worry about inhaling mold spores. The entire crew, especially JC were professional, hard working and cleaned everything up before they left our home. We are more than pleased and give them a 5/5 score and if we could give a higher score we would! Thank you JC and crew!. *** *** ******* ********, **** *********, NC.
