If I could give a minus 10 on the billing department at Atrium WFBH, I would. I have paid the same bill 3 times and yet they continue to send me a bill and have sent me to collection 2 times and one of the bills was for $5.15. They will take a credit card payment over the phone, they will take a credit card payment online, but if I try to pay with my HSA account (CC), through the mal, they do not apply the payment. I finally paid the $5.15 with a check and I still keep getting billed over and over again. This should be illegal & yes, I do want an apology. There is no excuse for this.

If you want a provider who actually returns calls and doesn't ignore you for months, go somewhere else. This office has been adding a code to my visits that misrepresents my medical condition, causing my insurance to deny full coverage. Ive seen doctors in North ********** and **** for the same check-*** without issue for years, but this office decided to attach a code suggesting a mental or emotional health condition just because I have ADHD. Now, instead of my visits being fully covered, Im expected to pay $180 for a five-minute appointment just to get my medication.Ive called billing and the main office repeatedly, always being told someone and eventually the office manager, ***, would call me. She never diduntil I threatened to leave a bad review and report them to the BBB. And when she finally responded, she emailed instead of called. Instead of listening or trying to resolve the issue, she just went straight to my insurance, who of course told her Im responsible for the bill. Thats not the pointthe problem is how theyre submitting it.This has been the most frustrating, unprofessional experience Ive had with a medical office. If you value your time, money, and sanity, avoid this place. And they should seriously reconsider who they have running the office.

On Tuesday, February 18, 2025, I had an urgent virtual visit with ******* *******, **, at Wake Forest Baptist (Atrium Health). ******* was pleasant and assured me that he would call in a prescription to address my symptoms, but unfortunately, he never followed through. The following day, I contacted the Wake Forest Baptist office to inquire about ******* and my medication, only to be informed that he had forgotten to submit my prescription. They indicated that they had sent him an urgent message, which he likely never received or read. On Thursday, February 20, I called again, but no one at Wake Forest Baptist could provide any information regarding ******* or my medication. A staff representative mentioned, Someone from the clinic will call you, but I cant say when. Naturally, I never received a call. It is deeply disappointing and utterly negligent that a PA like ******* is allowed to practice in the healthcare field and that Wake Forest Baptist allows such mistakes to be overlooked while exhibiting a lack of responsibility toward the health and well-being of senior patients.

Billing is borderline criminal. Can't give negative rating.1. I was never told by medical staff that insurance was denied for sleep study so I showed up and now being screwed by them.2. During conversations with billing office, had a portion of bill sent to collection.3. Now being told nothing they can do but offer a payment plan for overpriced service and service I would never have had if told it was out of pocket.Stay away from everything Atrium related.

WARNING: ATRIUM BAPTIST FEELS THEY DO NOT HAVE TO FOLLOW HIPAA AND INFORM PATIENTS OF THEIR ACTUAL HEALTH CONDITION AND WILL LIE TO YOU TO KEEP YOU COMING.Last week their Claims person tells me they will fight my attempt to find a lawyer to sue them for over a decade of medical neglect/malpractice because their review team looked over my history with them and decided I received proper care.Proper care to them is apparently not following HIPAA which involves informing their patient of their actual medical condition. Regardless if it was ER, neurologists handling ER, neurology, neurosurgery, general practitioner, physical therapist, vestibular medicine, etc ... Over a decade and nobody told me what my actual condition is. When I noticed in ******************************************************************************************************************* ******. Instead they put me through stress, anxiety, depression struggling for them to admit what my MRI said I had. Over a decade ignoring basic medical saying: do no harm. Their claims person says they did the best. That tells me to warn everyone not to go here. If you do, insist on readying their medical notes and seek second opinions at another hospital. Lawyers seems to only want to help if you or a loved one dies. Thankfully I am not dead but I won't stop trying to sue them until statute of limitations ends.November 2024:This month I got two letters from Baptist Neurology stating I am never to return to them. Why? Probably because I reported them to the ** Medical Board and it was their procedure but it was very confusing to me because I had told them in July I never planned to return and had cancelled all appointments at their hospital. You forbid someone from ever returning does that mean you never plan to improve with your care?

I have billing issues as many others. After seven months and multiple phone calls I am still getting billed for something I dont owe. I have been told multiple times and different stories from customer service **** that the issue would be reviewed and corrected. Nothing has been done and Im now on a 4th review. I have provided *** showing the adjustment that they asked for and even a three way call between Atrium *** and Insured companies. I have been told and emailed that I do not owe the bill in question and it would be corrected only to receive more calls, emails and texts to pay the bill. And then told, your right you dont owe this and we will again send it for a review, just to receive calls the following week to pay the bill. It does no good if no one will actually do a review and solve the problems. I am not allowed to talk to a supervisor and I spoke face to face with a financial assistance in person at one of the medical facilities and said she will try to help but since Atrium took over Wake Med it has gotten about impossible to talk to anyone. Pretty pathetic way of doing business.

Atrium Health Baptist Optical Designs off of *********************************I tried on lots of different frames the day of my visit and I appreciated the time that was spent with me to ensure I picked the correct ones, however, the incorrect frames were ordered. I called to explain this but they refused to admit the error and further explained that basically all sales are final. I felt this was unfortunate since I paid over $400 for the frames. I was simply asking for an exchange and make it right. Unfortunately I have no proof other than my word. Have been a customer there for years but I will not purchase anymore frames or contacts from them.

As others say, check your statements. The Portal is terrible.. no one knows what they are doing. If you have other options you should look into those. This place is going downhill quick.

Atrium at Premier Plaza is running an insurance scam. For the past two years, I have been going there to get my physical done which is 100% covered by my insurance, however I am still getting charged for these visits. I have contacted them multiple times to correct the coding error, yet they will not correct the bill. Additionally, Atrium charged me twice for a surgical procedure that I had received only once, but filed the claim with two different names. Fortunately my insurance was able to catch it and denied one of the claims. This establishment needs to be investigated and I will be contacting the ***********************
