    On 10/30/24 I went to get an oil change at Take 5 the employee said my vehicle required synthetic oil costing almost $100 which I nevered paid at other locations but since then my engine light came on and recently the oil pressure light I drive a 2018 Dodge Journey. On 12/1/24 I returned to make them look at my vehicle again and have learned that these type of oil change businesses recycle oil because oil isnt supposed to be the color of chicken grease. I spoken to Diddie the female manager on duty both times but I honestly feel they werent knowledgeable and need further training to correctly change oil on vehicles.I will never do business again and people shouldnt either especially using recycled oil in vehicles.

    I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. Diddy the manager on duty told me that ******* would reach back out the following day but never heard back at all !

    Hi, Ms. ***** I wanted to reach out to you on this matter and let you know that i have spoken with the customer and looked over her vehicle and we have come to the agreement that the job performed on her vehicle did not cause any issues she is having. after looking over the vehicle we found she had a valve cover leak and a faulty sensor for oil pressure. we have since agreed that this was not a Take 5 issue as it its basic wear and tear on a vehicle with over 190k miles.

    I took my car to take five oil on ****************** and ************* on July 7th 2024 at 10:25 a.m. I got my oil changed and left and by the 16th my car was knocking so hard that I had to take it to a mechanic and the mechanic found my oil plug in my motor. I have since been told that I need a whole new motor in order for my car to function I have since spent two paychecks to get another car on the road so that I don't have to walk to work I have spoken with take five oil and they feel they are not liable I have witness that say my car was running fine before the mechanic that worked on it and found the bolt knows me and has seen me every day at my job and here's my car right down the road all the time and now my car is no longer functioning I can't afford a motor my car is a 93 ***** Civic del Sol I have a performance motor and I'm just trying to figure out the next steps to making them pay for the damage they caused to my car
