      I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.

      non-payment. There was no way for me to pay it with them. I went back to click on the link in the last email for the first time (I was afraid to click it before, thinking it was a scam) at which point the website said I have no balance. I would like to pay anything I owe to this company, if I do owe something. And I want to pay it directly to them, not to a collection agency. I would like the collection to be canceled because it will hurt my credit. And I would like to receive a paper bill, not a text or an email.

       I am rejecting this response because:
      We paid the full amount they charged us in advance of receiving the glasses. when we received the glasses at a later date we asked them to file our insurance so the insurance would pay US the amount they owed on the glasses. It was not intended for eye care center to get the payment since WE HAD ALREADY PAID EYE CARE CENTER FOR THE GLASSES .EYE CARE IS GETTING TWO PAYMENTS FOR THE GLASSES.ARE THEY NOW SAYING THEY WILL CHARGE US MORE BECAUSE WE WANTED IT FILED ON OUR INSURANCE?

      I spoke with the patient previously and informed them that we gave them our 50% off promotional discount instead of filing to insurance because that saved them more than their insurance would have. The patient understood. It appears they have spoken with someone at our corporate office in billing to have it refiled to insurance (which will most likely incur a bill after filing the claim). Filing the claim can take at minimum 45 days, sometimes longer.

      Our billing department is in the process of refiling this claim. It can take up to 2 months for a claim to be filed. We are unable to refund any money until the claim is processed. You also have the option of filing a claim with your insurance for reimbursement and then your insurance will pay you back directly the difference they would have paid. Claims filed by us and/or yourself will still take up to 2 months to process.

      Spoke to patient and upon review it was realized that we gave her the 50% promotional discount, which is only valid for frame/lens combination, not valid on lenses only. The patient was informed during our call that we can return the frame if she would like, but then she would have to pay full retail for the lenses only, which is over $200 more. The patient decided to keep the frame and a resolution was met.
