I got 2 units with them back in July 2023 with *****. He told me they don't go up much on the units when they do. He said to contact him when they do and he would see what he could do. The first time I sent him an email about the increase and he changed it. He was able to keep it from going up. I get an email in Feb saying they are going up again. That is 2 times and it has not even been a year. I sent ***** another email. I find out he is no longer with the company. I speak to a new lady at the Winston ********* She said she would reach out to her manager. Her manager finally calls me like a week later. I explain all this to her. She tells me she has reached out to her manager to see what they can do. I have waiting 2 weeks with no response from anyone. I mail my payment in for March not including the increase since she said she was going to see what they could do. I get my payment receipt and it still shows I owe $44 dollars for both units. I called the ************** and left a message about this. These places don't need to go up on current tenants they have. I had also given them a referral. Which are my parents and they went up on there unit as well. The way the Economy is right now they don't need to be going up on people's units. Most people are just getting by. My parents are on a fixed income. I just lost my job in November and I'm looking for work.

I was renting storage Unit *** from *** ******* *** for $252.00 monthly fee. *** ******* *** sold the company to Go Store It and they increased fees to an additional $25.00 which cost me $277.00 a month. I was told that anytime I wanted to cancel my storage that I would be given a refund at a pro-rate. So, July 7, 2022, I paid for the month and shared with the Customer Representative that I would probably be moving out by the end of the month. He said; "That's fine. We will refund you at a pro-rate." On July 9, 2022 I was fortunate to get some friends to move my stuff that morning. There was nobody in the Office from 8:30am til 2:00pm. That's how long it took us to pack and move. I called the office later that day 4:00 and did not get anyone. There was no Voicemail set up so I could not leave message. I revisited the sight Monday, July 11, still no one was in the office. July 18th, Office Visit made again, no one present. I live in Charlotte, NC so making trips to Winston is not like driving across town. I finally got a working number and have purposely called every Mon, Wed weekly. I am constantly told that my Case will be escalated to Manager and someone will return the call. I am still waiting. No one has refunded my money and No one has bothered to return my calls. I have called every week in August, and my last call was made August 30, 2022 and still no one has responded to my request for my refund nor a return call. At this point, I would like for Go Store It to simply refund my money in full. I would appreciate your help in this matter. Thank You, **** ********
