Their associate test drove my vehicle and when it returned there are 3 faulty lights that have never been on, on this vehicle and they mysteriously know nothing about this. There were no lights on when I exited the vehicle and he got in and drove. He was gone for 11 minutes with my vehicle. These people are scam artists and should not be allowed to do this to clients with no recourse. I now have to pay my mechanic $200 diagnostic fee to figure out what their associate did to my vehicle! P.S. forgot to mention he also broke my armrest - BIG guy

The BBB complaint that ****** ***** wrote is not accurate.    ****** started communicating with Get400More.com several days before we met at our appointment.   He said he was the owner of a 1951 *** *** and 2015 **** that were both in good condition.   I have attached screen shots from our text conversations including the exterior pictures of the vehicle that he sent.  On the first phone call we explained that that the 1951 ********* ****** was not a vehicle that we would be interested in.   Get400More.com does not purchase classic vehicles.  We told him that we would be interested in his 2015 ****.  We made our offer with the understanding that the vehicle was in good condition.

The **** he was trying to sell is an electric vehicle, so we asked him very specific questions about the vehicle.  We asked him for the VIN, miles, and color which he provided.   We asked him the current battery range of the vehicle.  Range is VERY important element to the value on an electric vehicle.    ****s are known for having a very unreliable EV platform, so we made an extra effort to ask about the details on the vehicle.   We asked him if there were any mechanical or cosmetic issues with the car.    He stated that there were no issues.   We set an appointment for a Get400More.com buyer to meet, inspect, and purchase the vehicle.  At the customer's request we met in a ******* parking lot.   This request was odd, but we assumed that maybe he worked at *******.  We normally meet our customers at their home, office, or bank to complete the transaction.   Upon arriving at ******* and before even driving the vehicle we question the range on the vehicle.   It showed 60% less range than he had quoted us.  The cars showed a 60-mile range and he had told us that it had a 135-mile range.   Range on an electric car is very important and we had previously explained that battery range was a key component to the value of the vehicle.   After a brief conversation, our buyer test drove the car for less than five minutes.   This very brief test drive occurred on the small service road behind the *******.   Once the buyer returned with the vehicle, we explained that we were not going to purchase the vehicle for the $8000.   We told Mr. ***** that the vehicles range was much lower range than he had told us.   We do understand that the vehicle range could have been lower because he was driving it.  The bigger issue was the RBS and ESC warning lights were on.   Please see the picture attached to this email.   The picture shows the low range, the RBS light, and the ESC light.

Immediately after we told him that we would not be able to pay the $8000 we originally offered he became VERY upset.    He immediately started calling our business a scam and our buyers scammers.   He said if we did not pay him the price, he was going to call the BBB and get us in trouble.   In an effort to calm the customer down, the buyer called the corporate office so they could try and explain the reason for the price adjustment.   The corporate office again explained that Get400More.com offers a More Money Guarantee which means if you sell the vehicle to someone for more money than we offer then we will pay you $100.   Mr. ***** did not want to hear it.   He demanded that we pay him the $8000 that we offered over the phone.   Mr. ***** got more and more upset as he aggressively tried to force the Get400More.com team to purchase his vehicle.   In a last-ditch effort to try and force us into a deal he stated that we damaged his car.   He started claiming that while we were on the test drive, that we “messed with the fuses” which caused the RBS and ESC warning lights to come on.  He then claimed we broke the arm rest in the vehicle.

No one with Get400More.com altered or damaged Mr. ***** vehicle.   We sent two team members to this appointment in good faith to purchase the vehicle.  Mr. ***** aggressiveness was making the buyers and the buyers transportation assistant very uncomfortable.   It was at this point that the Get400More.com got back into their company car and quickly left ******* parking lot.

Get400More.com’s business is very simple.   We buy cars and pay more than our competitors.     We sent our buyer and a transportation assistant to a place Mr. ***** requested.   When the car was not as described we could not buy the vehicle.   The **** had multiple warning lights that were not discussed prior to the verbal offer.    We will be happy to pay Mr. ***** $100 as part of our “More Money Guarantee”.   We offered to do that while standing in the ****** parking lot.   That offer still stands if he is interested.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: All lies from the owner please see attached conversation and I never would have sold them my vehicle after they damaged it while driving. I have all conversations and will provide! All the numbers he is speaking of are incorrect please see screenshots of conversation. After they returned from an 11 minute test drive and connecting a device to my vehicle 2 lights were on that were not on prior. My vehicle is currently in the shop being repaired and I do not want $100 from these crooks however I would like them to pay for the issues they caused to my vehicle. I will keep it shorter than he as this info is correct.

    Sincerely,

    ****** *****

Get400More.com strives to provide the highest level of customer service.   In the last six years, we have never had a BBB complaint.   We take all complaints serious and investigate them fully.   We did not do anything during our short test drive that would have caused the warning lights to come on or the armrest to break.   We offered our standard $100 More Money Guarantee during our first appointment, and it was declined.   The More Money Guarantee is always offered when we cannot beat at competitors offer.    We again offered the no obligation $100 during or initial BBB response.   Even though we completely deny what Mr. ***** is saying we are wanting to make one final offer in an effort to make him happy. Get400More.com will offer him $200 to consider this case resolved and closed.
