      My wife reached out to Carolina Comfort Air about our A/C unit not working properly. They came out and determined we had a coil leak. They stated they would check to see if our unit was under warranty and get back with us. After a few days we followed up with them to check the status of the warranty check. They explained that our system is not under warranty and quoted us a $5,000 repair and stated they could get us scheduled immediately. A few weeks later on March 21st, my wife received confirmation from our warranty company that the unit is in fact under warranty and gave us the information to give to Carolina Comfort. Carolina Comfort then started they needed to confirm the warranty which they did. They told us they ordered the part on March 28th and it would take 7 business days to arrive which would be April 8th. On April 9th we called to schedule the repair, Carolina Comfort stated the part was not in yet but theyre tracking it and it will be here the next day. Two days later on April 11th, the part wasnt in yet but they stated they just tracked it and itll be here the next day. It is now April 21st, and we have been hearing the same thing from them for almost 3 weeks. Today we called and asked for the tracking number, we were giving a fake ***** tracking number. We called and told them the tracking number wasnt a real number and the lady replied oh yeah I realized that right after I emailed it over to you. We feel as if Carolina Comfort is giving us a very hard time, they havent been honest about the warranty and now the tracking of the part. Were very understanding people, all we have asked for was open communication and asked to speak to management but we just keep getting the run around. I dont think this is a bad company, they were really great in the beginning. It all got really muddy once they found out the system was under warranty.
