    My elderly grandmother, **** Colleen ******* paid **** the owner of ML repair services (up front, he preyed on her and she was **** and trusting) to build a screened in porch behind her house. Although there is no paper contract, I have proof of when the check was written out. The construction began January 13th, 2025. He stated he was going to start right after new year and that was delayed, he did not start the project until the middle of January. The porch was to be complete by the end of January, but because of his delay, that didnt happen. Now here we are in the middle of March and the porch is still not complete. He claims he will get to it when he gets to it. He has posted TikToks of working on the porch that our time stamped. My elderly grandmother paid $3400 upfront and then $400 additional because there was extra expenses per ****. She has since asked for a refund of half of what she paid him to get another contractor out to finish the job. He will not do it as again he states he will get to it when he gets to it. This is unfortunately, another business who has scammed the elderly. We do not want this to happen to anyone else. My grandmother does not have the money to pay another contractor to come in and finish what he was supposed to. He will not acknowledge and take accountability and puts it off on the manufacturers fault on why the porch is not complete.
