    My family suffered through a very damaging hailstorm and hired **** with Dakota Country Construction to do the repairs (roofing and siding). The hailstorm occurred in June of 2023. **** has given us many tentative dates that the work would be performed but kept giving us excuse after excuse about why he couldn't complete the work at that time and he would keep pushing the dates back. During this period of time I had been making payments to **** hoping that that would incentivize him to start the work. After paying him the amount listed, he gave a promise that the work would be completed in October of this year. October has come and past and it is now evident that the work will not be completed this year. Ive since told **** that I want my money back and now he is making excuses as to why he can't pay me the money back. None of the agreed upon service has been completed after almost two years and he will randomly cut off communication to me as well. The money I paid him is a combination of out-of-pocket, insurance, and loaned money from the bank.
