      Purchased several furniture 5 years ago in October 2019 with insurance. I was told I will get the value of insurance back if I dont file claim. 5 years passed. I called several time to claim the insurance value of $450. I wanted someone to use it on my behalf as I left ************ for work. I cant come back to claim the store credit. They stated they will call me back but never did. Same conversation three times with different employee. Seems like the policy they made up not to honor their insurance credit and do anything not to have you claim it. I demand the store credit to be used by a friend of mine on my behalf or send me the value of the insurance.

      My apologies for missing this complaint the first time.  Regarding the furniture protection plan and the related store credit in the event that the plan goes unused, both the plan and the potential credit are generally issued to and redeemable by the original purchaser exclusively and are not transferrable.  However, we have given consideration to the fact that Mr. ****** has moved and cannot take advantage of the credit himself.  We have decided to allow the one time transfer of the credit to the individual of his choice.  I will forward all the related information to our Bismarck ND store manager, ***** ******, and he will make contact with Mr ****** in order to make the arrangements.
