They overcharged my card over $1000 for my stay there a couple of years ago. I keep contacting them to get it corrected. They started out saying that they would correct it, every time I asked them about it. Then they just started saying that they'll look into it and get back to me then never do); and acting like it was the first they'd heard of the issue. My most recent dozen phone calls were all answered by a desk agent who would never let me even talk to the manager and just kept hanging up on me. After I told Wyndham about it recently, they started to lie about the circumstances of my stay. Now they say there are no refunds-- even though one time I actually got them to agree to refund the money (but they only refunded 1/3 of it to my card and hoped I wouldn't notice). They always have a contrived excuse or a new lie for why they aren't returning the remainder. That is when they actually respond. Which is no longer. They have stopped responding entirely. My last email was to ask for a receipt proving their new lies. No response.

The hotel had a shower without the ability to switch from running bath water to a running shower. There also was no bathtub plug in the bathroom to use it as a regular bath either. The air conditioner also rattled when used, and the door handle was installed improperly, requiring a manager's assistance just to get in the room. After not being able to bathe, they sent me an insulting response accusing me of not k owing how to run a shower, and that I could have asked for management assistance. Which is not the type of service one would ever expect from a motel. No one should have to ask for assistance to run basic amenities. Their statement that the shower works fine and that it was my fault is completely false, and I have a recorded video to prove it. The video shows that the mechanism to operate the shower was broken, and spinning loosely around the shower handle. It also shows all the different ways I tried to make the shower work. Simply put, these amenities are part of the contract between renters and the motels, and since they didn't work properly, they broke their contract by not providing what was paid for. The video is approximately 28 seconds and too large to upload here, but I am happy to send you the video through any channel that can handle the larger file size (>5Mb)

I am rejecting this response because:complaint must be redirected to the current owners who are responsible for this business.
