  It’s a start up company in its infancy stages still. James is sloppy, unreliable by not showing up as promised, has horrible communication and never believes the customer is right and tends to have an excuse for everything and takes quantity over quality. Had a deck built, that has had nothing but issues. Blames the design of the company he was contracted by, but cutting boards short, leaving nail strips all over yard, using nails that are to long (just a few of several issues) had nothing to do with design. Disposing left over lumber in an open new construction lot next to our home also. He did come back out to make his mistakes on build right, especially after it did not pass inspection and after the company that contracted him, terminated that relationship due to his quality (even knowing he blamed their design) for our deck, and others he built in area. Later, provided an estimate for additional repairs he would have done if he designed, and completed the work and did an OK job, but again took shortcuts and did not pay attention to detail. He also did stain, but in the end, added unexpected costs that were it was never communicated prior to him purchasing additional items and adding to final estimate. Had to come back out for touch up’s, but took weeks because didn’t show up when he said he would, or let us know he couldn’t come the day promised and would blame it on other things days later when he finally reached out. He was apologetic, and promised would work on that’s but the trend continued throughout the project. Final invoice was due in 30 days, but demanded payment the day the job was completed. He seems like a real good guy and knows his stuff. Just hope he works on communication, transparency, quality and customer service as the business hopefully grows. Truly wish James and the business the best!

  Very rude and unprofessional. Was paid in full but never finished. He brings in his father to help, but he just yells and talks down to customer. The father has a history with being sued over his work.

  Trustworthy, does an excellent job, and does not over charge.
