On June 5, 2022, I selected 6 shirts to order from the University of North Dakota Bookstore (https://www.bkstr.com/northdakotastore/home). I checked out, and the total for the 6 shirts and shipping was $225.51. The shipping that I agreed to was $23.99. I received an email saying that my order for 4 of the shirts was cancelled. I looked at my credit card charges online, and my credit charge showed three charges of $65.01, $71.52, and $93.19 from the University of North Dakota Bookstore. I emailed the University of North Dakota Bookstore. They replied to my initial email and said that part of my order had been cancelled. I discovered that they were only going to send me 2 of the shirts that cost $62.00, but they were still charging me $23.99 for shipping and an extra $2.01 for shipping tax, which I have never heard of before. I emailed back (at ******************* and explained that I did not agree to $26.00 for shipping for 2 t-shirts, which is ridiculous. I asked for a refund of the shipping charges. I would not have paid $26.00 to ship 2 t-shirts. I have not heard back from them since I asked for a refund. I want a refund. Also, I want this online store fixed or shut down. I think it is unlawful for being a fraud and an online scam. They apparently do not have most of the items listed on the website. However, they let people go through the check out process, they charge the credit cards, and they keep all of the shipping money. I don't see how this is legal. I cannot list a bunch of stuff on a website that I do not have, cancel most of it, and keep the shipping charges. This is theft.
