    I signed up and paid a deposit for a hunting trip at Silsby Lake Lodge for the fall of 2021. This was just prior to the beginning of covid and because ****** was restricted, the business automatically moved my reservation to the following hunting year--which I was unable to do due to military move overseas. Over the last several years the business continues to tell me they will return my $3500 deposit yet never follows through! I tried to be sympathetic at first, but ultimately they have taken an interest free loan or in simple terms, have actually stolen from me. I never agreed to a different hunting year. I demanded my deposit back and despite them saying they will refund me, they never do. For the last couple of years they have resumed operations and have sold out hunts and fishing trips yet continue to unlawfully keep my funds. Very frustrating and I'm very surprised that there would be such a lack of integrity with the typical trustworthy folk from ************. Based on the recommendation of an attorney I may have to pursue them in small claims court--of which he said I have a very solid legal standing. Disappointing!
