They discriminated against me after applying for the scholarship membership, which requires proof of **********, which in my case is due to disabilities, I have cancer, and use the center for health and wellness needs. I have been overcharged several times, and the clerical issues are upsetting when made to be my fault, and I pay the consequences of losing my membership. My membership for last year ended at the end of December 2024, as stated according to the scholarship membership requirements, so my last payment should have been November 26th, 2024, which covers December membership. Without notice, they continued to charge me in December 2024 and again in January 2025, which I did not discover till the end of March 2025 when reviewing my bank statements. Meanwhile, I was doing paperwork for the current year scholarship, as I do every year in January for the new year. Received a "Rejection Letter for Scholarship Application" dated January 29th, 2025, this was two days after being charged (unknowingly) for membership that should have ended December 2024. I am still under the impression that we are all following the requirements set forth by the center, so I am following their requirements for filing for new membership. I went in and spoke with ****** ***** (manager) at this time, apologizing to her for mistakes in the math she had done on my new membership form for the new year, which was an easy fix at that time. Received a new letter on February 7th, 2025, stating that my membership was now approved, to come in and pay for the NEW membership to get it activated, which I did February 25, 2025, to begin the membership as of March 1, 2025. Come March, the requirements to be met besides payments are to attend the center 12 times within 60 days, so between March 1 and April 30, 2025, I am required to attend at least 12 times. Was told by ******* ***** on March 25th that my membership was terminated in less than 30 days, not allowing me to put in my 12 required days.
