      After paying our homeowners insurance premium for over 8 years, which our premium has double every single renewal with out fail. They denied our homeowners claim for water damage. We called to confirm our coverage and exclusions and we’re advised by customer service that there were no exclusions but our limits just top out a certain amount. We requested 80,000 to repair our home and kitchen and were offered 1,000 & than 2,500 specified as a business decision. But specifically said our claim was still denied. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful to their loyal consumer for over 8 years. Horrible way to do business! We were not put back whole as insurance is supposed to do for us.

      Terrible customer service and communication. I applied for and paid for four home owners policies for homes in FL. My premium payment was accepted right away, and I was sent an evidence of insurability form right away.... then, the trouble began. I was told at least a week or two later that I had to do self-inspections on the properties, or pay out of pocket for a four-point inspection. As I do not live in FL, I paid out of pocket for a four-point inspection ($350+), which by the way, another insurance company did for me for another rental property free of charge. Then, I kept getting cancellation notices non stop, even though I had forwarded the inspection reports. In addition, I keep getting "new document" emails from the co., which require me to log on to the "portal," where I have to sift through anywhere from 20-30 documents in order to find the new upload. In addition, they appear to be changing the terms of the coverage in these "letter" documents, which are never mailed to the consumer,, but simply uploaded to their portal At this point, I feel total buyers remorse about purchasing these policies, and will likely cancel next year, when the premium comes due. Not worth saving a couple of hundred bucks for questionable coverage.
