Terrible business people!! Would not let them handle any thing to do with any of my family. The auctions they hold for people during their transition is full of questionable transactions, such as: charging five times the cost of shipping and they did not even pack the items…just threw them in a box and shipped. Just terrible!! Look at photos….beware!!

We had several conversations with this person.  We advised him, and posted in the terms and conditions of our auction, that we use UPS for packing and shipping.  The initial quote we had received from UPS was too high for him and we negotiated a lower cost whereby we paid for the difference.  Despite him not wanting us to, we took insurance out on the shipping and he was aware of it.  UPS packed and shipped the items - he was also aware of that.  We have advised him of the way he can claim but it appears he is not understanding.

When he received the items via UPS - he resorted to verbal threats and abusive language. See example below.

    Text message received.
“I will get my money back if I have to drive there!! You crossed the wrong person”

He also stated on an email regarding the cost - if he could send labels " I will be responsible for damages during shipping.”

Here is another thread showing that he is aware of UPS doing the packing and shipping:

    Complainant

"?Remove the insurance please. I will take responsibility. Each package is automatically covered for $100."

    Response

?"We cannot ship without insurance. Due to the value of the items you purchased if there is damage you can claim through UPS, we never ship for the value you paid without insurance. We have had claims made in  The past despite folks saying they assume responsibility. That is also something we state in our terms and conditions of the auction. "

    Complainant

"Who reads terms and conditions?? How about we just cancel the order? I am a reseller and I can’t pay for inflated shipping costs."
