These guys are terrible. I am a neighbor of a villa that has lawn service with these guys. They blow their grass clippings with their zero turn into my landscaping through a chain-link fence. When I asked the guy to blow the first two passes away. He said he needs to stripe the lawn and go every other direction. They have zero consideration for the neighbor.

Very poor communication - they do not return calls if you have a complaint & they will bill you no matter what. I scheduled a sprinkler line repair, the technician spent less than 10 minutes at my home to tell me he could not fix it. They billed me for a service call to tell me they couldn't help me. When I disputed the charge in writing, they threatened to file a lien against my house.
Definitely do not recommend this company.

You scheduled a sprinkler appointment to diagnose and fix a leak. We found that the problem was a leak beneath your driveway, and that a new line would need to be bored under the driveway in the spring. The charge for diagnosing is $65. Boring underneath the driveway is a separate fee if you elect to do so. You indicated you would call back if you decided to fix it.
We spoke with you on the phone and wrote responses to two of your letters following your initial appointment. It has been 5 months since your appointment and you have not payed your bill. Filing a lien is our only recourse when customers don't pay for services rendered.

Based not on work quality, but on price charged. Requested from a different company to have someone come out to inspect and possibly fix our line drip sprinkler system. Company sent Crow Lawncare employee, presumably as a subcontractor.
Summary of care: employee was here for 20 minutes. Checked it out, found one particular split, was able to find suitable gear in truck to replace. Called office to report findings. I asked for price repeatedly, was told a couple of times by the employee that he could not quote, then that he would only charge for about 15 minutes. Great. 15 minutes of even a $100 bill is $25, and I can't fix it myself. Employee did a stellar job fixing the line.
The bill received, 2 months later, is for $75. Jumped on the phone to explain to the office. Was told that they charge a minimum of 1 hour, every time, and minimum is $75. This is not in line with what was explained in the field. I asked them to work with me, because of this miscommunication. I want to pay for good work, but feel misled on price here. Office restated $75 and that was the minimum they would charge. I asked for an email back and for someone to reach out that we could work with a price on. Haven't heard back in 2 months, but have received two more invoices. The latest invoice has tacked on a $25 lien fee, which I presume means that for $75 they're willing to grab property instead of having even one more conversation with me.
Going to bite the bullet and pay this. I'll have to call them one more time, since they don't have an online portal. Failed to get someone twice already, but I guess I'll keep trying until I can get this processed. This marks more effort I have made to contact them than they cared to make for me, unfortunately. Crow Lawncare will not be allowed near my sprinkler system again in the future. Good work by the contractor, but predatory behavior by the office.

We are sorry you feel that way. We conversed back and forth on the phone and over email, where we explained to you that our base rate is $70. That is our advertised rate and our minimum for sprinkler appointments. There are mobilization and opportunity costs associated with your appointment no matter how long it is.
As for the lien, that is our only recourse, as contractors, when some one refuses, for 6 months, to pay for services already rendered.
