    Bait and switch scam dealers! Beware if shopping online and don't trust anything the sales reps tell you. They will lie to you to get you on their lot and then push you into another vehicle.
    I chatted with a sales rep on 4/25/2024 in the afternoon, he verified the availability of a car I was interested in; unfortunately, I did not get his name. I contacted them again the next morning to schedule a test drive; but suddenly Mike D******* tells me that the vehicle I was interested in had been sold over a week ago but they help me out by getting me into a car 4 years newer and almost $10k more expensive. Refused to provide an explanation as to why or how the previous sales rep verified the availability; accused their website guy of not updating the website yet; and also blamed cargurus for being slow in removing sold inventory. To further push the bait & switch scam, Mike then offered an inconsequential rude "discount" of $500 towards any car on their lot.
    I've sold cars on cargurus before; once you mark it on cargurus as sold, it is immediately removed from available inventory. That claim is a complete and total falsehood.

    can you please indicate what make and model of the car you have been interested in? once you provide us with that vehicle then we will be able to provide you with the correct answer.
    Just note that selling a car as a private owner on car gurus vs a dealership is a bit different.

    Recent purchase of a Mazda CX9. Everything went pretty good. I had a couple of concerns I wanted checked on my new purchase and they went out of their way to make sure those concerns were taken care of. Took care of financing as well. Great place to purchase reasonably priced automobiles.

    After having girlfriends car taken in found out it needed about 15 k worth of work including new engine and compartment as well as bad wiring that was aftermarket. Car was bought for just around 30. Wasnt able to find a shop until now that would take the engine apart because nobody wanted to work on it and they new it was broken. Was also sold a warranty that has an exclusionary clause for aftermarket parts on an aftermarket vehicle. Now she is out a car and another 15 k if she wants to fix it and unisell wont lift a finger after selling a broken vehicle.
