    Scope of work.
We hired koneck to put up a 6ft fence and tear down the old (4ft). We talked to our neighbors about removing their fence and making the new fence ours. We all 3 had a conversation about doing so.
When I stopped back home the put our fence on their property and he proceeded to tell me I didn’t tell him where to put it. He wanted to charge me another $2,500 to redo it.
They also put the 6ft post right in the middle of our bedroom window instead of putting it by the side of the house where the original post was.
On the north side the did not evenly space the post and they were all different sizes. He said he’d to a 4ft gate and it was only 3 f.
He poured the cement directly from the bag into the holes instead of mixing it.
He charged me for materials that I already had paid for (he told me to do it this way). I questioned him and he said I had not paid the store when in fact I showed him my receipt saying I paid.
These guys were very rude and sloppy. They did not clean up after themselves as I had empty cement bags blowing all over.
I had to hire another contractor to redo everything.
He pointed out that when the dug the holes they threw all the dirt in my neighbors newly landscaping rocks which we spent 6 hours cleaning it up.
I am a single mom of 2 handicapped girls and this whole thing has been extremely stressful.
Because I refuse to pay them (he increased his labor costs by $500)
He put a lien on my house which I’m not happy about.
He contradicted himself several times in the many texts we shared.
He complained many times about how hot it was outside and when I pointed out about the fence post’s being uneven he said my son is still learning. I asked if he was going to fix it and he said no! If I wanted it fixed he would charge me. I said I shouldn’t have to as you did it incorrectly. He proceeded to walk away.
All in all I would never recommend this company to anyone. It’s been a huge headache from the start.

**** reached out to me for a quote on a fence replacement. While doing the walkthrough and recording measurements, I noticed the left side of her property fence line belong to her neighbor. I made it very clear that she would need the neighbor's permission to remove their fence and install 6 ft privacy fence. Several weeks later I received a text from **** saying she would like to move forward with Koneck fence for her fence replacement as discussed. We scheduled her install for June 19th. Before starting I ask all my customers to pay for their materials up front through our material provider ( *******) that way they benefit from the 11% rebate. This includes delivery.  On June 19th at about 11:00 a.m. I noticed ****** neighbor( *****) approaching me and my crew with his hands up in the air asking us what we were doing with his fence. ***** told me Tish never talked to them about replacing their side of the fence which was a red flag to me. I stopped the crew immediately and had ***** call **** over this dispute. ***** and **** talked over the phone and come to find out **** apparently talked to *****'s wife instead without ***** knowing so everything was good to go finishing that day ( demo & post set). The very next day I get a voicemail from ***** threatening legal action towards me and accusing me of theft of his fence. After reviewing this voicemail, I immediately told **** that she would need to get a lot survey done before we come back to proceed finishing the work. The new posts were set in line exactly where the old fence line was previously , then **** wanted the post move in away from the original fence line which was not discussed when we first met. I told her I would be charging extra for moving the post over after she obtained a survey. Few days past and I check in with **** on an update for the survey and she tells me that they have hired someone else to finish the work I have started. Post are laid out for digging at 7 ft 9 in that gives us 3 in to work with for the 2x4x8s that are custom-built for her job not prefabricated on 8-ft centers. Some of the top of the post were to be cut down to grade when we plan to go back and finish. The original agreement from start to finish was $2,375. Since we only got to do the demo and install the post. The total owed is $1,787.50 for the labor and labor only. On every job we carry a trash can just for concrete empty bags, cement bags blowing all over the place is a lie. Cement gets mixed into the holes with water versus in a wheelbarrow. Uneven fence post were to be trimmed down upon completion. **** was not present the entire time we worked up until we were just getting ready to leave. All fences that get replaced usually goes right back in the same exact spot as the old fence line. Unless there is a property line dispute, I always request the homeowner obtain a survey. In this case I did not because Tish insured me that she had permission from *****. Again, **** was gone the entire time we worked up until we were about ready to leave. So I'm having a hard time comprehending these conversations she is lying about. With that being said, I have saved all text messages, emails and voicemails from ***** and **** in regards to my defense. These are defamatory statements and will be taking legal action.
