Subject: Complaint Regarding Unauthorized Charges and Unresolved Transactions

    Dear Better Business Bureau,

I am writing to file a complaint against Pathway Bank, ******* and ***** for unauthorized charges and fraudulent activities related to my ONLINE ORDER in February 2024.

Firstly, Pathway Bank received a $30 bank transfer from my other bank, but immediately made the funds unavailable for my use. They falsely informed me that the $30 would be returned to MY originating bank, but this never happened. Pathway Bank is the financial institution used by ****** for their Red Card re-loadable debit Visa cards.

Additionally, on a separate occasion in February 2024, I placed a same-day delivery order through ******** online service, facilitated by *****. I was severely overcharged by over $100. The policy for this specific service included an up charge, which was supposed to be refunded after delivery but was not. The ***** delivery charge was $9.99, yet ****** and ***** imposed additional fees and taxes on each item in my order, resulting in unauthorized charges well beyond the advertised cost.

Pathway Bank, ******* and ***** all participated in this fraudulent overcharging. Pathway Bank failed to report the correct transaction activities on my bank statement. ******** receipts within my online account were convoluted, breaking down one order into six difficult-to-follow invoices with images. These receipts falsely represented the costs, retaining unauthorized fees on each item, and included charges for items I never received.

Pathway Bank's statements only reflected the ORIGINAL order price BEFORE AND without the additional up-charges that ****** retained. BY DOING SO THEY MADE IT A HASSLE TO DISPUTE THE REAL HIGHER AMOUNT THAT I WAS REALLY CHARGED BY ****** DELIVERED BY ***** ORDER. This discrepancy indicates that ****** and ***** used undisclosed fees to overcharge me fraudulently, and Pathway Bank failed to accurately document these transactions.

This is not a customer of Pathway Bank.  Also, the attached image is not a product associated with our bank.  My guess is they are needing to file a complaint about Pathward Bank.  This has been a common misunderstanding for us recently when Pathward Bank bought another bank.
