    We had ***** back to repair falling out grout twice after he completed this project.  We were still having issues with the grout and floor pan after his two post construction visits, and when we called/texted him after the those two visits he never responded back to us.

    River City Contracting and Roofing has contacted me and set up payment arrangements. When he fulfills his payments I would like to remove my comments from his profile. Please let me know if I can do that and if so how.

    Hello,

    Due to the situation still being in process I do not want to accept or reject until full payment is received.  We have agreed to 4 payments of $2000.  Only 1 of 4 has been recieved. Payments are schedule for June 15th, June 30th and July 15th.  I will not consider this resolved until all payments have been deposited in my account for the full refund.  For this reason I don't not want to close the complaint.  Once full payment has been achieved I will accept or reject.  However I will wait to do so.

    been incredibly hard to actually physically get concrete we have to order it 4 or 5 days out and it's been a complete debacle everyone is having that same struggle all that would have been easier if I communicated it to you but is respectfully as I can say this it wasn't a priority to me."

    We are most certainly sympathic for the situation so we asked to speak with a forman to he could be with family. The reply was "Really? How about I just give the money back. I can see that this project is not going well, or will not go well." We agreed to have the money refunded after that repsonse and his reply was "gladly".

    His last response to a 12/11/23 follow up was on 12/12/23 saying "I responded to your text about needing the money by the 15th last Tuesday. I don't feel and obligation to respond beyond that."

    I tried one more time to text on 1/15/24 with no response and the $8000 has not been refunded.

    I met with Jason this morning and we agreed to terms and we have arranged a payment plan. I gave him a $2,000 cashiers check today and will pay $2,000 every two weeks and by July 15, 2024 the term agreement will be paid off if not sooner. We take full responsibility for what happened and disappointed the way it turned out but glad we could find a resolution.

    ***** from River City Contracting just reached out to us and said he will pay us on the spot if we have the complaint removed from the BBB website.  I'm not sure how it works to get the claim removed.  I'm also not sure if he will actually do what he said.  Please let me know what the next steps are.  If he will give us our money back I will want it removed.

    After contacting the attorney general, the business reached out asking to set up a payment plan. I’m working with a lawyer to draft a contract currentlyd not pay TD2 for the boundary line survey, allowed his bond to elapse in 2023, and has allowed his license to expire as of April 1 of 2024. To prevent the unfinished structure from degrading, I've begun pulling permits, getting it inspected, and working on it myself to finish the significant amount of work needed to pass inspection

    Attached is the breach of contract document which I sent him, including supporting pictures and the contract we signed.

    Ideally, he would repay my progress payment, but at least I would like him to never work as a contractor in Omaha again given that it appears I am not the only one he's done this to.
