**** was referred to me by our roofer and therefore, thought he was an honest person. He indicated he needed half of the money to purchase materials and since he was referred by our roofer, I trusted the process. He has since taken the $1,750 and has been a no show every time he was scheduled to do the work. He was paid almost 2 months ago. He never called to explain why he was a no show, I was forced to follow up with him. It's been many excuses, one after another and I finally requested my money back. He told me he'd have to sell a vehicle to pay me back and I will get the money when I get it- his life doesn't revolve around me. That is not how business is done and my money should be available when I ask for it back.

We contacted this contractor (**** *********) as a referred contractor to replace our gutters. He picked up a check for half of the bid to purchase materials up front. He cashed that check on October 9th- $1,900 (he had us make it out to him -**** *********). He has since made a dozen excuses as to why he was not able to come to our house at the promised day/time. He NEVER communicates that he is not going to make it- we have to figure out that he is not coming as promised and call/text him to find out where he is and when we can expect to have them done. He has lied to us about his crew coming to our house to replace the gutters (and said they had to leave because it started to sprinkle)- he did not know that we have cameras in multiple areas outside of our house. We verified that he lied about his crew coming to our house. He will not give us our money back and he just keeps putting us off with the gutters. He is doing the exact same thing to at least one other lady ******* ***** *n Papillion- she has filed a report with ***** law enforcement). She and I have been in communications every day and he feeds us each a similar story and continues to promise he is coming and never shows up and never calls to tell us what happened. She paid him $1,700. I've contacted the Sheriff's department and filed a complaint with Deputy ********** **************** I've also emailed Deputy ********* with DCSO and **** ******** is coming out to interview my husband on Friday to put this on the news (Channel 6). I either want my full deposit back or I want the refund immediately.
