    Mark and his staff at Hardwood Artisan did a fantastic job for us! He helped us pick out and custom stain our beautiful wood floors and stairs. We also refaced the kitchen cabinets, installed butcher block countertops, and had a hallway closet custom built to meet our needs. He was helpful with all my questions. They delivered on time and the price was right. No surprises, no failures. I recommend them to anyone needing custom woodwork!

    Mark was able to build cabinetry to match the cupboards i already had in my kitchen. The whole team was professional, they protected surfaces already in place and cleaned up when they were done. I would recommend them any day.

    Harwood Artisan did an amazing job with our floors. They are extremely professional, knowledgable, and talented. They make their own custom wood in house. Mark and his team went over and beyond to make the floors flow from room to room. I highly recommend them.

    We were very disappointed in the work and finish. We asked for satin finish got semi gloss and satin. There were issues with markings of overlap of stain and polyurethane. There are places that have streaks of satin showing through the semi gloss, and areas of medium to large polyurethane droplets in the finish. They did do a good job of replacing the damaged wood after pointing out where boards were popping up. They did not vacuum between the last two applications of polyurethane, but swept the floor with our garage broom. All kinds of hairs, dust bumps can be seen and felt when walking barefoot. When sending payment first of the month, requested brand name of polyurethane used so we could repair ourself. Mark said he would stop by and fix. The 22nd of month, have not seen or heard back. If I could attach pictures you could see for yourself.

    There are several pieces of misinformation in this review that I would like to respond to. First of all we did vacuum between coats We used their broom to go over with tach cloth to remove fine particles We did use satin finish. After the customer complained about finish I went and looked and determined the floor probably need a 4th coat of finish which we did at no charge. That happens very seldom but is not the first time

    We are very pleased with how our kitchen island and cupboards were remodeled. The island was added onto with with beautiful craftsmanship. The cupboard doors and drawers were rebuilt and installed as though they had always been there. We couldn't be happier with the end result.
