  We hired AS & D Construction to build shop and storage building for us, He was paid a total of $275,000.00 Dollars over the course of 1 year to complete the work along with paying him to do insurance work from two insurance claims. He strung the projects out by not showing up for days on end and putting in very short days of. 2- 3 hours and then leaving. We asked and asked for receipts and he would not produce any.. He assured us that he did not mark up the materials we paid for with our own money. We paid him a considerable amount of money in cash to complete work and purchase two heating/ air units for the shop and another shop we had hired him to build a few years earlier.he also took for equipment for part of the building project. He took roll up doors that we purchased for the project from the property and will not return them. He took off for extended times to go gambling, in South Dakota, Chili Cook Offs In Colorado and Cinco Demayo in Texas. After we had paid him all this money. ( We do have receipts, and signed contracts.) He attempted to write out phony additions to the project to pad the bill since he had spent all of the funds. He lloaded all of his equipment up while I was at work and never came back. We have called him and texted him, and he will not return any of our attempts to find out why he is not completing what he was paid for. We have had to hire other contractors to finish the project which is a financial burden on us. AS&D Construction has had similar complaints from others in the past. To me this is theft of services we have paid for.

  ****** ********** *he owner did concrete work for me. I knew him 20 years and considered him a friend. He said he would buy trusses for an addition for the concrete work. I wrote him a $15,000 check to buy trusses, then he strung me out and said he would get it, kept promising he would come back, but he never did, and never got me the trusses, he just stole $15,000 from me and left. Then I found out he was doing this to literally everyone, and has stolen hundreds of thousands of dollars from people and has lost multiple lawsuits for doing this exact thing.
