My son has had some credit issues in the past, especially with the unexpected passing of his wife leaving him with two small children to raise. We were trying to get him into a cheaper rental situation. Because of the children he recently started his own cleaning company. Because of the credit score and his recently job change I (his mother) offered to co-sign the lease to insure payment. We both provided them with all the information they requested that insured his income and mine. We were told it all looked good and signatures were just needed. They took a deposit of $35.00 from both of us. Then the next day we receive a text stating that my son did not qualify due to bad credit history?? I then reminded them that I would co-sign. Chersa Lara the person we were dealing with said that she had did the applications backwards and therefore now the company would not rent to us. I asked to speak with owner with no response. Terrible business dealing. RENTERS AND BUYERS BEWARE!

We understand the frustrations with your recent experience with our application process. We want to explain our cosigner policy. A cosigner can become an option when the primary applicant, who is the person who'd occupy the property, has an approved application on all criteria except the criteria point of meeting the income requirements for the property of interest.
Although it was discussed that a co-signer would work for the income qualification for the primary applicant, after the application and screening reports for the primary applicant were received, further results showed that the primary application, the application for the person who'd occupy the property, was denied due to reasons other than the income criteria requirements.
Since the primary application was denied based on criteria other than income, a co-signer application would not help the primary applicant become qualified. Thus, the co-signers' application fee was refunded as the co-signers' application was irrelevant.

We are sorry for the inconvenience that this may have caused. If you want to visit further, you may contact management by emailing [email protected] or calling 308-633-6440.
