1 starHORRIBLE finance company!! RUN!!!
My husband bought a backhoe and financed through AMUR back in November. We went through our insurance carrier to cover it. The equipment was covered and we paid our premiums. We sent all insurance documents required for coverage early December and around five months later started to notice a 202.26 monthly charge for insurance premium in addition to our payment. I called to question this and was informed the insurance that we provided did not meet requirements for the loan. I asked why I was not informed of this so that I could get it corrected earlier on and was told that letters and emails had been sent. That was a lie! I received NOTHING or it would have been dealt with. I requested proof of this and they never sent it. My insurance was updated and resubmitted to them as soon as i knew their was a problem. I received an email that everything was corrected and future charges would not occur. Guess what? That was a lie too!!!! Two weeks later they are attempting to auto draft insurance premium from my account of 202.26....again.

1 starAmur equipment finance will try to rip off their customer.My truck was paid off full year registration and they were trying to get $2915 out of me for no reason.I provided them DMV Desk Vehicle Registration Inquiry Report and after 8 weeks i am not getting the right registration papers.I have to go back DMV 06/12/25 to get it right.Truck cost me $7500 without putting my truck on the road.They are incompetent and heartless peopleReview fromDrew H

1 starThese guys are the shadiest scum of all lenders! The initial process was awful getting a commercial truck loan. We then found a new bank to try to get away from them. At this time we were informed that all fees, interest and all, are charged immediately. Payoff was $20000 higher than we took the loan for! RUN! Do NOT do business with this company.Review fromDRD L

1 starI would never use this company again.
They stole money from us monthly for insurance. We had our own insurance and our carrier had them on as lean holders and sent them copies. The first 3 years of loan no problems until the last 6 months left. They had every excuse for there wrong doings than on top our direct withdrawal was no longer expected said we needed secured funds. Would not except our payment which no one could understand why again after 3 years never a problem why now all these problems and excuses and customer service just pushed the blame back and forth. No one ever gave you straight answer and problems where never taken care of or felt with.Review fromValeriu J

Very disappointed with the entire process. The staff does whatever it takes to get you off the phone. ZERO resolution or care about a real issue. This company is royally fucking me over and over. And my contact with the company doesn't even respond any more. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

In review of your contract, Amur has worked with you and your vendor directly to get the sales tax issue and MSO information updated and resubmitted to the DMV for processing. As we discussed this error was due to an insurance calculation which we have corrected and an error on the MSO that the vendor has since fixed. All documents have been resubmitted to the DMV as they required and should be ready to process. Each connection with our customer is valued and should never be rushed or pushed through until we can understand the full need of the customer. Do not conduct business with this company!!!!!!! This is a warning. They have ripped me and my family off with their "undisclosed" fees. We have failed to get in touch with someone to give us a breakdown of the fees. No one has successfully given us the breakdown. We owe an extra $30,000 without any breakdown. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Do not allow any brokerage to broker a loan with them. If I could give them zero stars I would.Amur Equipment Finance, Inc.
