I am the POA for my Brother. He is unable to get his vehicle at this time, so I went to his home to get the vehicle in ****************. When I arrived at his home, I was informed that his boyfriend drove it to work. He works for his family's towing business. When I asked for the vehicle from the towing company, I was informed that I can not have the vehicle as there is still money owed on it. Mind you, this is only after it had be driven there by my brother's boyfriend for work, NOT to be impounded. This was in August. I have since been trying to resolve the matter through text messages. Then, on October 12, I received a certified letter stating that they TOWED the car (less than 100 ft??) and we are being charged daily. However the date of tow was 2-14-2022 and my brother bought said car in March of 2022. So at this point there are some very not professional tactics being used. We are being threatened, we are being bullied and they are trying to charge us for things that are not even our bill. At this point, they can have the car back and resell it if that is what they so desire. We just do not want to be contacted by them again and have the bogus bills dropped.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/10/21) */ Contact Name and Title: Chloe ******* Contact Phone: ************ Contact Email: *********************** The vehicle in question was left in a driveway on ******************** and towed 7.4 miles to our lot after the homeowner requested it be removed due to the registered owner becoming incarcerated. The vehicle was towed on 9/14/2022. Our office follows all ******** State Statues when towing and notifying registered owners. This vehicle is not nor was it ever driven by any member of my family, as I am the owner of this business, therefor I know that for sure. We have spoke with the owners sisters, Katy & Audrey & told them to speak to their brother & he would let them know about the bill that is still owed against the vehicle. I have offered for them to come into the office when I am there to show them the paperwork in person, but they have never shown up.
