    I would not recommend Gretna Plumbing for your plumbing needs. In April 2023, I had Gretna Plumbing change my kitchen sink with a Garbage Disposal to a kitchen sink with no Garbage Disposal. I paid $391.00 for this service. In December 2023, the Basket Strainer (Matte Black) started to lose its finish. I contacted Gretna Plumbing January 2, 2024 and was told by Darin he would check with the manufacturer and get back to me. I never heard back from him. I called again January 15, 2024 and was told the parts guy was unavailable and I would get a call back-no call back. On February 19, 2024, I called again and was told by Kennedy, I was called on January 3, 2024 and told this part has no warranty as they don't know what I had done to the basket. They offered to order a different basket (better one) and install it for $144. I told her I had done nothing to the basket and shouldn't have to pay to have a new, better one installed. The sink is a double sink and the basket (Matte Black) the builder installed (been in the home less than a year) is in perfect condition. I asked for the manufacture's information as Gretna Plumbing does not want to rectify the problem. I contacted the manufacture and the part does have a warranty and they are sending me a replacement free of charge, but they do not cover installation. They said possibly the part was defective (i'm curious if a defective part was installed as this was the only one the plumber could find in the warehouse to install) or the plumber damaged it during installation. The manufacturer was very easy to work with and didn't even require a proof of purchase/install. BUYER BEWARE! Gretna Plumbing does not stand behind the products they install but are more than willing to fix the problem at an additional charge to you. They also lie about the parts not having a warranty when in fact they do. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

    Good morning, we are sorry for your frustration. My team is absolutely not deliberately trying to misinform you. We only tell you what we are being told. I'm happy to hear you had different results with the manufacturer.
