    Disappointing Experience with Betts Real Estate - A Cautionary Tale

    I'm compelled to share a profoundly negative experience with Betts Real Estate, a property management company that has left our contracting business in a precarious financial position. After completing work as per our agreement, we've been met with nothing but excuses and delays regarding payment from Betts Real Estate.

    Despite numerous attempts to resolve this amicably, we found ourselves with no choice but to file a lien due to their failure to pay us for over 60 days. This lien, which I've attached for reference, stands as a testament to the financial irresponsibility of Betts Real Estate.

    The most disheartening aspect? The homeowner, completely unaware of these dealings, now has a lien on their property record, all because of Betts Real Estate's mismanagement. This situation not only affects us but tarnishes the homeowner's record unfairly.

    To Other Contractors: Steer clear of Betts Real Estate. Their pattern of non-payment isn't isolated; we've heard similar stories from others employed by Betts. If you choose to work with them, prepare for a battle to get paid.

    To Potential Clients: Think twice before engaging Betts Real Estate. Their inability to manage contractor payments responsibly could lead to unforeseen legal and financial headaches for you.

    This experience has been a costly lesson in the importance of vetting property management companies thoroughly. Betts Real Estate has failed us, and unfortunately, this lien is the result of their negligence.
