Took my car to their shop on 9-5-2023. I wanted front brakes repaired. I told the owner I don't know much about cars, which I don't. They quoted me $3,800+ for front brakes, rear brakes and rear main seal leak; $1,600+ for brakes only. My car does not have a rear main seal oil leak. No leaking oil, no low oil levels, no oil warning light, no oil on underbody, zero drops in my parking space. The quote sent to my phone does not include any dollar amounts. They only gave me the two dollar amounts over the phone. I asked them to print the quote but they did not want to, they said it would be about 45 pages. They charged me $63 for the worthless quote. I didn't have them do any work. I'll never be back. Horrible experience.

*** ******** did come in to our shop to have her brakes done. It is policy that every vehicle gets a complimentary vehicle inspection before any work is done in case there are a lot of repairs that need to be made. In this case, we did do an inspection and sent it to *** ******** (which she provided the link that we sent her). But that's all that was.. was JUST the inspection. My tech had noted that her front brakes were due because they were grinding. He also noted that the rear brakes are "wearing bad; would recommend rear as well; might have a caliper issue; one side is wearing faster than the other." When my in-training Service Advisor spoke with *** ********, I believe she might have been misinformed. As the tech stated, the vehicle "MIGHT" have a caliper issue.. I believe *** ******** was misinformed and was told that it had to be done when actually she should have been told that there is a possibility that they may need to be done. We wouldn't know for sure until the tech started on the job. On the inspection, my tech also made a note of *** ********** "rear main seal leaking". Again, *** ******** was misinformed. Her seal is SEEPING, not leaking. (This was on my tech because he used the wrong word. He has been reminded on how to word things depending on the severity) A seep is a very, VERY slow leak. It should have been noted as a seep and *** ******** should have been told that we would just keep an eye on it and if it progressed, we could then discuss the next step. I have tried calling *** ******** to explain this unfortunate misunderstanding and have left messages with no response. I have text her as well with no response. I have reached out to her with no luck.
