      On May 2nd Holling plumbing came to my rent house because I had called asking for a quote on my main drain line being lined. I was surprised when I received an invoice in the mail for $250 because website stated “call us today for a FREE estimate.” When I received the invoice I called their office to ask if me receiving the bill was a mistake. They stated no because they had to camera my drain. I explained to them I called the office asking for an estimate and their website stated estimates are free. I asked how they can advertise free estimates for drain liners if the camera to provide the estimate is $250? I explained to them I should have been notified of the charge and that they are false advertising. I also told them I would not be paying the bill. Since then I continue to receive the invoice by text and in the mail. Today I received another invoice stating “Final Notice!” I do have screenshots of their website and sent it to them. Since then I have noticed they changed the wording on their website so it does not state free estimates however they are still sending me invoices.

      In order to give a free Estimate to see if a Sewer line is eligible for a liner we have to run a camera through the line to see the what the pipes look like.  You were told that a camera would need to be ran through the line and the charge for that. It it impossible to give a estimate without seeing what the pipes look like.

      I have not paid the invoice. Holding Plumbing continues to send me past due invoices of $250.

      When you called to make the appointment for our servicemen to come to your property in Grand Island to see if the Sewer pipes were eligible for a liner to be done, you were told in order to see what the Sewer pipes look like we would need to run a camera through the line and that charge is $250.  The $250 fee would be waived if you chose to have your sewer lines repaired.  Unfortunately the Sewer line was not eligible for a liner, in which now you are not wanting to pay for the camera service.  Sorry if there was any confusion, we have never had any problems with this from any other customer.  We are unsure why you are disputing this charge.
