    Was a tenant at **** ***** *** *** *** from November 2022- March 2024. Management was given notice multiple times that we would be moving once my husband received orders. Provided a 30 day notice to vacate the premises on March 1. A forwarding address and phone number were supplied on the notice. Have called the office multiple times with no progress being made. Was told on one of the initial calls that supposedly it had be returned by mail and when asked if they needed the address again we were informed no they had it. Have left messages for the “supposed” manager *** and still no avail. It has been over three months and we still have not received our security deposit back or any correspondence of any sort. I believe somewhere along the way the office lady messaged up my husbands name. The lease was under ***** ******** and ****** ******.

    I started renting from East Lawn in October of 2021. In August 2022, I received an eviction notice for nonpayment of rent and a court date. I got ahold of the landlord and presented proof of payment for 2 out of the 3 months they said I didn't pay. The months were June, July & August 2022. East Lawn lost my electronic payments and never contacted me once during that 3-4 month time frame to ask about the payments, they just filed with the court. They locked my online account and said I had to pay by money order and cash, I refused because I didn't want them losing those payments(This was for August payment.) I am aware that I was behind on waste/water payments and pet rent. I applied for help from the state and East Lawn refused to accept it. I spoke with the local Community Action Partnership about this situation and they ********* **** **** ***** ********** *** have helped people who were in East Lawn. When the court date came I was not able to make it as my children and I were sick. I let the landlord and the landlords lawyer know I would not be present at the court hearing. At that time I was not aware I had to reach out to the courts to reschedule. They then filed a default judgement. I went to court on 1 Mar 2023 in regards to the default judgement. I was told by lawyers to present my evidence then. I tried to present my evidence and the judge denied it. I am still being charged by default judgement for payments I had already made. The motion to Set Aside Default Judgement and a New Trial were denied. **** ******** *** ********** ** **** ***** ***** ***** I feel I was wrongly evicted and wasn't able to represent and present evidence. The front desk associate, Kristie *****, is **** **** and ********* to the tenants. She refused to work with me and reach out about the nonpayment of rent, I was accused of not paying. I have lost my jobs, housing, more time with my kids due to their mistake and recklessness. This company needs looked into on their practices, ******* * ** *** *** ***** **** *** ******** **.
