    To summarize, this company was hired to help fix an HOA tax issue in 2020, they have not done so despite saying that they have, as evidenced by correspondence with HOA treasurers, and receiving of compounding fines+interest every year since 2020 from both the IRS and state of California.

    My HOA has been paying Verdant a.k.a. Avior Tax & Accounting since 2020 to help them resolve a tax error from 2019. I recently became treasurer of the HOA and it appears that the company has been dishonest and fraudulent with the 3 prior treasurers before me as they have been telling the prior treasurers that the issue is resolved and collected over $1000/year to prepare our HOA's taxes, however, I have received notices from both the IRS and California state this year that there are thousands of dollars of back taxes due still from 2019 and that this issue wasn't resolved correctly. In the meantime the error has resulted in compounded interest with both the IRS and state of California and we just received a final notice from the state that our HOA may be foreclosed.

    I have attempted to reach out to Verdant/Avior and initially heard back from ********* ****** CPA, however they have stopped responding to all my messages 2 months ago, and do not take phone calls. This seems to be in line with their recent yelp/google reviews about being a dishonest company.

    I would like to note that these issues started before I moved into the building so I cannot speak to what happened initially in 2019, and the previous treasurers have moved out of the building. I am attaching documents of the correspondence between the previous treasurers and this company, and also the relevant tax documents and correspondence with this company.

    The last known attempt by this company to solve the issue would have been this past tax season, April 2024. I have tried to reach out to them since then and received one response in September from ********* ***** from this company, but he has since stopped responding after the first response.
