    I had a Radon Reduction System installed in my home as I was remodeling. After I was contacted by a third-party Radon testing company that said they follow up to ensure the system is working. When they tested for Radon (left a system in the room for 3-4 days), the report came back at the same Radon level as it was before they installed the system.

    Thus the system is not doing anything. I called ***** at Radon System Installers - ************. NE License # *********. ***** answered, he said he just got back from vacation or something... this was back in January or February. He said he would reach back out to set an appointment in a week or so to come check and adjust the system. He never called back.

    I called 3 more times over the last 6 months, always getting a Voicemail. I called again today and am extremely disappointed. My 9 year-old daughter is sleeping in the basement. The entire reason I installed the system.

    In short, Radon System Installers installed a system that does nothing and is not responding to correct the issue.

    The system was installed July of 2023. The customer chose to not have it tested until March of 2024. The radon level came back slightly higher than it should have been therefore it should have been put on the calendar for repair. I was out of town when he called and talked to me and I was positive I had already put it on the calendar. I had not put it on the calendar.  I also must have missed a couple of phone calls but I did not receive voicemails from those phone calls. He called again yesterday August 27th 2024 and left a voicemail cursing me out and telling me how irresponsible of a person I am to build a system that doesn't work. Again he did not retest his house for 9 months after the radon system was installed. After receiving that voicemail I promptly got a hold of him and we have set up a time for repairs. I informed the customer I have never had a house that I've not been able to get the radon under 4.0. I thought everything was on the up and up as of yesterday. I then received this complaint this morning.
