      Don't bank here. They **** you with fees. One little error and they will take 100's in fees from you. In just 5 short days I have been charged over 400.00 in fees and the only activity I had on my account was a 15.00 bill pay. They somehow justify kicking you while you're down. In 5 short days I had 100.00 on continuing overdraft fees because they refused to close my account. They definitely aren't looking out for the well being of their customers. I continue to try and make this right but they have made it impossible for me to get caught back up and refuse to close my account.

      Shut down my card leaving me no access to my money without my permission while 14 hours away from home. Had nothing to do with fraud no fraud calls or texts as per usual no they said It was “per my request in branch” I was 14 away in New Mexico. There is no Union bank in New Mexico. “Oh well you could’ve done it over the phone” no I never once called any Union bank branch and my Verizon call records will show it so who closed my account leaving me with no access to my funds while 14 hours away from home… and why?

      Both my wife and I are extremely upset related to the letters we received from UBT (Dated June 30, 2023) indicating a "Notice of Security Incident."
      It appears (according to UBT) that our names, address, date of births and social security numbers (for us and many others) may have been compromised. To us this is absolutely unacceptable.
      We expect a bank to have safeguards in place, monitored and updated to protect customer information. Again to us, a bank should have customer information protection to be of the absolute highest priority and Union Bank and Trust has apparently failed miserably to protect us.
