I’ve gone to the Women’s Clinic for several years. Back in February of 2024 I received a letter stating that when I make my next appointment that I needed to check with them to see if I was still in network with my insurance. I call to make my March 2024 appointment, I asked to make sure I was still “in network”. I read all the information off my insurance card and was told I was in network, so I scheduled my March appointment.
I get a call from someone to reschedule my appointment for a week later in March 2024.
When I arrived at the appointment I was asked for my insurance card and the receptionist took a copy of it.
I get a copy of my EOB on 5/6/2024 stating that I was “out of network”
I called and talked with billing, I was told I need to talk with the office manager.
I talked with the office manager and she was going to check into the wording. Not sure what she was talking about, the wording is “out of network” she was supposed to call me back. I have not heard from anyone in regards to the mistake they made. If knew they were “out of network” I would have gone somewhere else. They are also charging me for lab fee - don’t know what these are for.

Thank you for forwarding me this email.  Sorry I just received this email from BBB and this is the first one we have received.    I apologize but our clinic emails have changed as of 3/1/24.  We definitely want to resolve this concern for this patient.  I will reconnect with his patient.
