I used opendorse to college athletes for product testing videos. Opendorse issued a credit on my first rejected deal, then after a few days, most deals are rejected and I have sent them text and emails asking for refund. They got back to me asking me to compile a detailed list. I did. They never get back to me thereafter.

******** *********** is a user on the Opendorse Marketplace platform who utilizes the marketplace to send deal offers to college athletes. All credit card charges on Opendorse are processed at the point the deal offer is sent, and it is not dependent on the athlete actually accepting the deal offer. If a deal offer is not accepted or expires, the money spent is returned to the account balance as credits. Opendorse buyers can then elect to request a refund from Opendorse Support or they can use these credits to send further deals without charging their credit card.*********** has sent 26 deals on Opendorse, most of which were rejected, and our platform’s payment processor, ******, only recorded 8 credit card transactions between 1/14/2025 and 1/31/2025, meaning that her card was only charged for eight deals and the others were sent utilizing this credit system.

According to ******, total charges to ***********’s card equal $527.97. *********** contacted Opendorse Support via email on 1/31/2025 at 1:20 p.m. CST requesting a refund on specified cancelled and rejected deals. However, the email for****ing made it difficult for the support specialist, ****, to determine amounts and he requested and he requested a compiled list that was more easily readable for him.The email has been pasted directly below:

Thanks so much!*********** replied with a PDF compiled list in 1/31/2025. This list requested refunds for 21 deals equaling $842.55. Because *********** did not spend $842.55, Opendorse Support was only able to refund the active credits in her account balance, which equated to $450.65 across four credit card transactions.**** did not follow up to let *********** know he processed this refund accordingly, and *********** contacted Opendorse Support via email on 2/4/2025 at 2:47 p.m. CST requesting an update.

The Opendorse Support Manager, *****, replied to her email on 2/4/2025 at 4:53 p.m. CST explaining that the refund was processed accordingly and provided a breakdown explanation as well as informing *********** an additional refund was performed as requested. The email has been pasted below:

Hi ****,No problem, I'd be happy to provide an update.I am seeing that **** processed a refund for your account balance credits on 1/30/2025 for $450.65 and it shouldn't take longer than 5-10 business days at the latest for it to appear back on your credit card.I see in your tracking sheet that you had a total of $842.55, however I checked your account in our payment processor, ******, and it looks like Opendorse has only processed a total of $527.97 in total payments on your account across its account history, so some of those deals look to have been sent with credits from previous expired or rejected deals.I also saw that your deal with ******** ****** ****** was not cancelled, so I went ahead and got that taken care of and processed a refund for that as well, and it should be on its way now.If you'd like, I'd be happy to provide receipts for the refunded transactions. Please let me know if there is anything else that I can help with in the meantime!

*********** responded on 2/4/2025 at 5:19 p.m. CST stating she used two credit cards for purchases, and requested ***** check again. The email has been pasted below:

**** ***********<****.****************************>Hi *****,I used at least two of my credit/debit cards on OPendorse. Please check again. Thanks
    ****

***** then replied at 2/5/2025 at 9:13 a.m. CST with screenshots of her Opendorse profile only having a single MasterCard payment method attached, as well as a screenshot from within the ****** dashboard showing that all of her transactions were charged to a single MasterCard, and requested further information about the supposed second card to investigate. ***** also offered to perform an additional refund on the credits remaining in her account (which *********** would instead use to send a different deal). The email is pasted below:

    ***** from Opendorse <*********************>
    Recipients: **** ***********
Hi ****, I have attached two screenshots of your Opendorse account's payment history in our payment processor, ******, as well as a screenshot of your current account payments tab on Opendorse. As you can see, we are only seeing one MasterCard ending in **** attached to your account as a payment method right now, and it appears that all 8 transactions charged to your account were tied to that MasterCard ending in ****.I don't see that we charged any other cards when you sent deals on Opendorse. Would you mind letting me know the last four digits of the other card you think we charged, name of the card carrier and the date of the charge? If you have the Opendorse deal details for that charge as well I can look into that also.Would you also like that $17.33 in credits in your account balance refunded today too? I'd be happy to take care of that if so.

As of 2/7/2025, *********** has not responded to this email and no further interactions have occurred between her and Opendorse Support. Currently her account transaction history with ****** shows refunds totaling $463.98 and her total spend after refunds as of 2/7/2025 is $66.66. *********** also proceeded to send another deal on the Opendorse Marketplace on 2/6/2025.

Included in this response is the screenshots ***** sent to *********** in the las email.
