    I worked for this agency for over three years. I cared for an adult with disabilities in my home. She was extremely well taken care of and well cared for. Out of the blue one morning, her case manager approached me at the individual’s day program and came to my car and told me that this individual had found a new host home. Apparently , they had taken her the day before to meet with a new host home providers without having the decency to notify me. They also said that she was moving that day and they needed to come and pack her stuff. This was sneaky, shady, and unethical. They simply could have notified me and let me know that this individual is moving and that would’ve been perfectly OK as this individual has the right to move. Instead, after this individual lived with me for three years, they chose to be sneaky, not inform me and behave in a very unethical manner. What they did was extremely disgraceful, and they should be ashamed of themselves.
