    Off campus student housing businesses are under the assumption that their family are going to pay for any off set charges. That is not always the case as many college students consider themselves adults. Many college students come from middle or upper class families which is why businesses like to think it’s okay to overcharge college students. College students are pursing an education to get a lifelong career but that does not necessarily mean they are money making machines at this age. They do not want to pay for the price that comes with that attitude. Most apartments do not go through great lengths to charge residents with high move out bills. It’s important to provide accommodation for college students. It’s no secret that college students do not make 50k a year. The employees are slandering and use manipulative behaviour that furthers my financial burden as a student. This does not offer fair and reasonable pricing that reflects the financial realities of student tenants.

    Do not have your college student live here! They will fine him or her for ridiculous things, and when they move out, they will be charged for trumped up cleaning and damage charges.
    Don’t take my word for it, get on yelp and read the reviews, they are scathing!
    Their business model is to squeeze every dollar possible out of students who have no choice to pay, lest their credit rating be destroyed.
    We were charged a cleaning fee for a spotless bathroom, but most egregious was a charge for a ceiling crack that my daughter reported on move in! I asked how she could have caused a ceiling crack, and they had no answer, but insisted we pay!
    Live anywhere but here, it is a nightmare!
    Is it possible to leave zero stars?

    Thank you for reaching out on behalf of your daughter. We value transparency when it comes to move out charges. Before her move out in July of 2021, we provided our residents with possible charges and a cleaning check list. On our financial move out statements, we do include a dispute process that is needed to be completed by the primary resident and/or the current guarantor. We understand you may be upset by your daughter’s fees, but your comments are misleading. We have responded to your other reviews on various platforms explaining that there was not a charge on your daughter’s account for a ceiling crack. We would be happy to explain all of the charges / credits to your daughter. Please have her email us at [email protected] and we would be happy to answer any of her questions!
