    The management at their Centerville Iowa The Landing Apartments is terrible. I put a review on Google review and she responded in complete lies. I was living with black mold. I had to scrape off of my wall in my bathroom. They entered into my bedroom and then threw my bathroom when they were only told that they could go into the kitchen to replace a refrigerator that I have been waiting on for eight months because I had a leaky one. Then after I moved out, I vacuumed the entire place wiped down all the counters and all I did was leave a couple garbage bags by accident in the garage and she charged me $1000 for cleaning I would not rent from her. She's a terrible property manager. And she's a crook!

    The lodge apartments are terrible, been here almost 6 months and they have yet to fix any of the wholes in the bathroom. Dishwasher didn't work when we moved in ordered us a new one and exact same thing happened and have yet to receive a replacement and all they can say for themselves is they are short staffed but yet I've been hearing this since we moved in.

    Just wanted too shout out about a manager who works at Kings gate Apartments.
    Kelly is a good caring manager. I wished most Managers were like her, Thank you Perry R***.

    They won't put in a handicap sign where there are handicap residents. I don't think there's any insulation in the above crawl space. I live here because I'm on housing, they won't put ice down where people in 4 apt s use the same entryway, saying it's not a common area. That's not true and lazy on their side. Ive fallen twice, 1st a concussion, 2nd time, broken elbow. Check with Bryan East. put a bucket of salt on the top porch. The people under neath don't get ant salt. If your cooling system or heating system go out off hours you can't call until call unless it's 35°, or in the summer in the high 90's. ( dont quote me on that, I'm sure you can look it up under after hour maintenance rules.)That's dangerous for tenants who have bad heart conditions, or other physical disabilities where they can't get up for more blankets in the winter. There's definitely no insulation between the wood and outside paneling. I can't remember the proper name. I know there supposed to be insulation between the two.

    These people won’t let you get a parking permit for a rental car and want you to park in visitor parking when you pay rent there and are a resident. Horrible and shady people! They do not care about tenants.

    If I could give them zero stars i would. I lived one, horrible year at one of their properties. There was a rodent infestation that was so bad despite efforts to control it, I couldn't even sleep as you could hear them running through the walls a ceiling. They don't to regular maintenance, they give you the run around, for months for nothing to be done until after you move out, or until a building inspector comes out and has them fix something that was a health and safety hazard. I also heard the fire inspector tell the property manager that they had been telling them for years to get rid of the mulch that helped accelerate the fire that happened Infront of my apartment. Pretty sure they broke multiple laws by not keeping up with their property. They also will send a zero dollar invoice, tell you that you owe nothing when moving out, then send you to a debt collector for a invalid reason, and for twice the amount anyone should pay for what they claimed it was for. Stay away from this company.

    We are sorry to hear your experience living with us did not meet your expectations. However, several of your comments do not depict accurate information. We pride ourselves on providing a high level of service to our residents. This includes preventative maintenance performed in all units on a regular basis. We had our pest control vendor investigate your claims of mice several times and never found any evidence of mice. This was communicated to you on each occasion of inspection by our pest control vendor. We can provide inspection reports upon request. The fire you speak of was from illegal fireworks on the fourth of July. At no time did the fire department make any statements about the mulch. The move out statement you received was from having to replace the carpet in your unit that was brand new when you moved in. We can provide pictures as well as the report from our carpet vendor that states the entire unit was saturated in pet urine. If you would like any of these reports or pictures we would be happy to provide these to you. Please contact the office with any further concerns.
