    We purchased a Kyosho RWD Remote Control Car on 12/26/24 new unopened box. We paid full price of $193.49 by Credit Card. Upon opening the car we found out immediately that it was NOT working correctly. After completing steps in the manual to troubleshoot and trying to fix it without success we brought it back to the store 1/17/25. Owner/Manager of the store ignored our request for a refund. Tech at store informed me that the servo was no good. After asking a second time, she told me she was contacting her distributor first. I was then instructed to leave the car behind under repair ticket number V-030883. After not hearing back from them I called them on 1/13/25 at which time they hung up on me. When I called back the owner informed me that she had received further troubleshooting instructions and that she would call me back. As of today 1/16/25 I have not been called so I called them. I was informed this time that they were still waiting for further instructions and that they would call me. This is a new out of the box item and we have zero interest in a “repaired” item when we paid almost $200. We want a full refund of original amount and the return of the 8 AAA batteries that were installed by us after the purchase.
    UPDATE - went back in for a 3rd attempt at a refund, they finally issued refund on 1/20/25 after clerk had trouble figuring out how to do so. I have been professional and polite on all occasions (please check the store video).; By 1/26/25 refund had not posted in my account, went back into store to ask why and duty manager went off on me yelling and screaming at me in front of staff and other customers. Told me I was an ******* and I was banned from the store, repeatedly. He offered to call the cops on me, which I begged him to do so. All I asked was why didn’t someone call me on 1/20/25 when they noticed my refund did not take? I did say it was a ****** thing to do to a faithful customer. Store is in Brandon, Florida @ **** **** ******* ****.
