    We signed on August 8th, 2024 for my Mother, ******* *** ***** to move into ***** *** in ********* **** in Bridgeville, PA. They are owed by Resort Living Communities. My Mother didn't actually move in until the end of August (I point that out because if she didn't move in until the last week in August, she obviously wasn't eating the food they provide there, yet we paid for it). My Mother died on January 10, 2024, that day they removed her body from the facility. When I signed her up, I paid $1924.50 for the SECURITY DEPOSIT. I didn't receive the full amount back. We paid 30days rent past my mother's date of death per the guidelines. ****, the manager claimed we didn't receive the full security deposit back because we had to pay for what my mother would have eaten! She was dead, she couldn't eat! I find this completely unacceptable!! We paid for food when she wasn't actually living there yet in August! And now that she died, they want to take the money from the security deposit for food?! Please see attached documents.

    I did not recognize this email as something other than a marketing communication until I opened it today.  The initial communication sent to my email address was sent just 7 days ago.  I will investigate and provide a response from the company in the next 10 days.
