On 9/12/22, I dropped my watch off to have the crystal replaced. When I went to pick up the watch on 9/23, I saw that there was no seconds hand. When I told the women at the counter she ************ told me that was the way I dropped it off, which was NOT true. I showed her a picture that I sent my parents right before dropping the watch off, which clearly showed the seconds hand in tact. She then went and got the guy who worked on the watch and he tried to ****** tell me the same thing- that there was not a seconds hand when he began work on it. I showed him the picture as well. At that point, he said he'd go to look for it and get back to me. Today I went in to pick up the watch and see that they put on a mismatched seconds hand- not the original. It does not match the style, is too short and too dark. When I picked up the watch they did not present any other options and did not offer a discount or even to waive the fee. I brought this watch all the way from ******. It belonged to my grandfather who has now passed. The fact that they lost this piece is unfortunate to say the least, but at minimum, they should have matched the seconds hand better than what they slapped on.

The watch in question was brought in to Time Shoppe to have a crystal replaced, as stated. The crystal in the watch when it was brought in had a hole in the side of it. The second hand was lost between the time the watch was brought in to my store-after the picture was taken- and before I started to replace the crystal. When the watch was picked up by Isiah, he noticed the second hand was missing, and I agreed that there was a second hand on the watch at the time the picture was taken.
I installed a new second hand on the watch, and Isiah picked the watch up, and did not indicate there was a problem with the second hand, which I replaced at no additional charge. I received a call from a woman-not Isiah-indicating the above stated problems, although she was never in the store and heard our conversation first hand. (the woman ended our phone conversation by calling me an *******.)
The second hand does not match color because it is a new hand, and the watch is older. Since the watch is an important piece to you, If Isiah wants to bring the watch-along with the picture-in to me, I will find a second hand that will please him. If not, I will issue a refund of the cost of the crystal. Please accept my apology for any inconvenience this may have caused.
