      We had a leak in our a/c unit which came through our second floor ceiling. The unit is on the third floor. I called Norfolk Air, who installed the unit 5-6 years ago, to repair it. Two technicians came out, looked at it, and told us it was a plumbing problem. The next day they sent a plumber out, who cut a hole in the 2nd floor ceiling. There was no plumbing there, so a 3rd group came out next, tightened a pipe, and it was fixed. I was charged $177.00 the first day, and $277.00 the second day for the plumber’s work. We asked for a refund for the plumber’s work, since it was unnecessary and was done only because their technicians misread the problem. We also asked that they pay for the repair to the ceiling. The supervisor, Chuck, refused on both requests. I will not use Norfolk Air again, and to anyone who asks I will recommend anyone except them.

      This is what wrote about Norfolk Air for the whole world to see:
      This review will probably be considered a minority opinion; nevertheless, I feel compelled to write this statement. We have been patronizing Norfolk Air since 2020 and since then, we had two thermostats and a capacitor installed. In addition, we purchased a one year service plan as an initiative for preventive maintenance. Just recently, the temperature differential in the thermostat was unbalanced and consequently, our house was unusually warmer. I informed Norfolk Air of the problem and they quoted the $89.00 fee required for a home visit. However, I decided to use another HVAC technician to diagnose the problem. I was told that there was a considerably large hole the Freon line (leading to the coil) , the line could not be replaced, and we needed a new coil, in addition to cleaning the system and Freon.
      In retrospect, three Norfolk Air technicians serviced the unit, but not one of them diagnosed that the line was severely damaged and needed immediate repair. In essence, the cost of the repair was estimated at $1,300 - out of pocket.
      If some Norfolk Air technicians are so cavalier about their work ethics, then how can they be reliable, trusted, and proficient. As a result, I will NEVER patronize Norfolk Air again, and furthermore, I will recommend to my family and friends that they are unreliable, incredible, and untrustworthy - that's just my opinion ??!
